As one can see the one who has posted it also reviews his own video with the highest possible ranking.
What is the use of the ranking when they are misused in this way?

i would not really think this would bother anyone. I did not realize that a contest was in place regarding ratings. If it is possible to remove the rating i left i will. Really if you were running in an election would you not vote for yourself anyway? If i have violated some policy and it can be shown to me then i will change the rating if that is at all possible. Now i will get back to what i was working on.....

:)

Perhaps leave an "error report" on an item when you notice this, calling attention to the possible problem. Use the link on the item's details page. I expect curators can move any relevant info from the "review" to the details. Sometimes people will just mistakenly use the review function to add extra info to their item.

Why has this item been singled out for ridicule and censor???? There have been TONS of people here who have posted "reviews" for themselves ad nauseum and no one has batted an eye.

If you have a policy of not self reviewing, make it apparent to those who upload and enforce it without prejudice. This policy of singling people out to suit some visitors and moderators at the archive is really reaching ridiculous proportions.

Treat everyone fairly and stop the fascist abuse of power.

If there are problems of any kind with items, curators need you to file error reports on individual items calling their attention to the specific problem for each. (BTW, leaving followup "reviews" to call attention won't help- they don't enter the tracking system.)

Whether or not curators would even judge self-reviewing a given item as a problem, they can't really know about specific cases of it unless it they see reports that they can consider.

(I wasn't offering a policy statement, just a pointer.)
